Casablanca Finance City (statut CFC - loi n° 44-10 telle que modifiée)

CFC remains Morocco's platform status for Africa-focused funds - but its dividend-tax advantage was cut back in 2023.

CFC is Morocco's financial-hub status, granted to eligible regional/international financial and professional-services firms (holdings, asset managers, advisory, treasury centres). It carries a preferential corporate-tax regime for qualifying export/regional turnover and an FX-flexibility framework, making it a common domicile for Africa-focused funds and holding vehicles using Morocco as a platform. The 2026 Finance Act revised the taxation of CFC-status employees, and the permanent dividend-WHT exemption previously attached to CFC/industrial-acceleration-zone companies has been withdrawn for MOROCCAN-SOURCE dividends (it now only survives for foreign-source dividends paid to non-residents). Model any CFC structure on the current text, not on pre-2023 memoranda.
