The Ministry of Economy and Finance has granted approval to three intermediaries to operate in the new Casablanca futures market, marking a decisive step toward its operational launch .
Approved intermediaries: CFG Marchés, BMCE Capital Bourse, and CDG Capital Bourse.
Their entry enables investors — both institutional and retail — to hedge equity positions and diversify strategies via derivatives.
The initiative is part of Morocco’s push to modernize its capital markets and deepen liquidity.
The first product expected: a futures contract on the MASI 20 index, anticipated to launch soon.
This milestone underscores Casablanca’s ambition to strengthen its position as a regional financial hub, while providing investors with new risk management and trading tools.
