Cegid, a leading European provider of cloud-based management solutions, has officially inaugurated Cegid Atlas, its new cloud hub located at the 12th and 13th floors of the Cross Tower within Casablanca Finance City.

This milestone marks a significant step in the company's international development and confirms Morocco as a strategic platform serving its European and global markets.

The Cegid Atlas hub is structured around four expertise pillars: customer support, delivery and services, research and development, and back-office functions covering finance, human resources, and information systems.

The hub's establishment is not merely an operational extension but a key component of the company's global organization, driving high-value missions in conjunction with its main divisions, including Retail and Enterprise.

Cegid Atlas has recruited a team of 240 employees since June 2025, with a planned gradual increase in staff to support the group's international activities.

The project relies heavily on Moroccan skills, with the rapid growth of the workforce reflecting the depth of the local talent market and Morocco's ability to host integrated technological activities meeting international standards.

According to Tam Kaghat, president of Cegid Atlas, Moroccan employees are a crucial asset in developing the group's international expertise and capabilities.

Said Ibrahimi, director general of Casablanca Finance City Authority, noted that this choice confirms the quality, depth, and competitiveness of Morocco's talent pool in engineering, development, and programming.

This inauguration aligns with Cegid's Forward. ai strategy, which places generative artificial intelligence at the core of its offerings.

It also complements the zone Ibérie, LATAM & Afrique strategy, positioning Casablanca as a regional hub.

Founded in 1983 in Lyon, Cegid operates entirely in SaaS mode and distributes its solutions in 130 countries to over one million clients.

The Moroccan economy is gaining momentum, with the country's strategic location and favorable business environment making it an attractive destination for international investors.

The establishment of Cegid Atlas in Casablanca Finance City is a significant development, underscoring Morocco's potential as a hub for cloud-based services and technological innovation.

This move is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, creating new job opportunities and driving growth in the technology sector.

As a result, Morocco's position as a key player in the African and global economy is likely to be reinforced, making it an increasingly attractive destination for foreign investors seeking to tap into the region's growing market.")
