The Moroccan healthcare sector, a favorite among investors, has seen Akdital and Vicenne take center stage.

Akdital, in particular, has become a model for post-IPO revaluation, with its stock price surging over 300% since its 2022 listing at 300 dirhams.

Currently trading around 1,200 dirhams, the company's shares have nearly quadrupled in value.

Vicenne, listed in mid-July 2025, has seen a 70% increase in value since its listing.

The sector's growth has raised questions about the opportunities for new investors and whether the market still believes in the sector's potential.

Some analysts argue that the market has already factored in the companies' future growth, while others see potential in the sector's transformation due to the generalization of medical coverage in Morocco.

Akdital's strong performance is attributed to its rapid execution and clear strategy, which have been valued by investors.

The company has maintained a rare expansion pace since its listing, opening 12 new clinics in 2024 and 8 more in 2025, bringing its network to 41 clinics across 24 cities with over 4,500 operational beds.

The market has taken note of Akdital's ability to quickly transform its new capacities into visible revenue growth.

This has supported the company's strong revaluation after its IPO, with investors looking ahead to several years of future growth despite high valuation multiples.

At the end of 2025, the company's price-to-earnings ratio was over 47x, yet the market continued to believe in Akdital's potential due to its visible pipeline of expansion and the depth of demand in the private healthcare sector.

The context of the Moroccan market has also played a role in Akdital's success, with the generalization of medical coverage changing the sector's dynamics.

Over 32 million beneficiaries are now covered by the AMO, representing nearly 88% of the population, up from 42% before the reform.

Akdital appears to be one of the main beneficiaries of this transformation, with 62% of its services now covered by national payers, primarily the CNSS.

This provides the market with visibility into the future demand for specialized private healthcare services.

The company's potential is also seen as being supported by its international expansion plans, with projects announced in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Tunisia potentially opening a new phase of growth.

At this stage, the market is starting to integrate this regional dimension, but the contribution of international projects to the company's future growth remains to be seen.

The Moroccan healthcare sector's growth has created opportunities for new investors, but the market's expectations and the companies' potential will continue to be closely watched.

The sector's transformation due to the generalization of medical coverage has changed the dynamics, and companies like Akdital and Vicenne are poised to benefit from this trend.

The market's valuation of these companies will continue to be influenced by their ability to execute their strategies and deliver growth, as well as the sector's overall potential for expansion and the impact of international projects on their future growth prospects.
