Morocco's national carrier, Royal Air Maroc, is gearing up to transport fans of the Atlas Lions to the 2026 World Cup in the United States.

The airline has scheduled special flights during the first round, which will take place from June 13 to 24, 2026, in New York, Boston, and Atlanta.

This marks a historic first for Royal Air Maroc, which has never previously served Atlanta.

A total of 32 additional flights with a capacity of over 8,800 seats will be operated during this period to meet the high demand from fans.

The airline's president, Hamid Addou, stated, "We are thrilled to support the Atlas Lions' extraordinary adventure once again at this global event.

Following the successful exceptional arrangements made for the World Cups in Russia in 2018 and Qatar in 2022, Royal Air Maroc is mobilizing to enable Moroccan fans to fully experience this grand football celebration alongside their national team."

The airline will significantly enhance its offer to the host cities of the Atlas Lions' matches, particularly through special flights operated by large-capacity aircraft.

As a national carrier and ambassador for the Kingdom, Royal Air Maroc will deploy all necessary technical, human, and operational resources to showcase Morocco and proudly display the national colors.

Today more than ever, we are all behind the Atlas Lions.

In New York, Royal Air Maroc will operate 12 additional direct flights on June 11, 12, and 13, 2026, for departures, as well as on June 14 and 15, 2026, for returns, allowing over 3,300 Moroccan fans to accompany the Atlas Lions.

This arrangement will complement the two regular daily flights operated by the company throughout the World Cup period, increasing the total capacity to nearly 7,500 fans in New York.

The national carrier will also establish 12 direct special flights to Boston, scheduled for June 17, 18, and 19, 2026, for departures, and June 20, 21, and 22, 2026, for returns, enabling the transportation of over 3,300 Moroccan fans.

Finally, Royal Air Maroc will operate 8 special direct flights to Atlanta on June 22, 23, and 24, 2026, for departures, as well as on June 25, 26, and 27, 2026, for returns, to ensure the transportation of over 2,200 Moroccan fans behind the national team.

These flights will be operated by large-capacity aircraft offering high standards of comfort, safety, and quality of service to ensure passengers an optimal travel experience on transatlantic routes.

To enable as many fans as possible to experience this historic event, the national carrier will offer a special tariff of 10,000 Moroccan dirhams, return in economy class, at a fixed date and non-refundable.

This move is expected to have a positive impact on the Moroccan market, as it will attract a large number of fans to the country, boosting tourism and economic activity.

The increased air connectivity will also facilitate the movement of people and goods, contributing to the country's economic growth and development.

The success of this initiative will demonstrate the airline's commitment to supporting the country's national team and promoting Moroccan culture and tourism.
