Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Celebrates 23rd Birthday Under the Sign of Duty and Commitment

The Royal Family and the Moroccan people celebrate, on Friday, May 8, with joy and enthusiasm, the 23rd birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, a happy event that reflects the real dimension of the Moroccan people's unbreakable attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, guarantor of the unity and stability of the Kingdom.

This anniversary recalls the joyful moments of Thursday, May 8, 2003, when the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery announced the blessed birth, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, of a boy whom His Majesty King Mohammed VI had the kindness to baptize with the name Moulay El Hassan, in honor of the memory of His August Grandfather, the late King Hassan II, may God have mercy on his soul.

The celebration of the 23rd birthday of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan offers a renewed opportunity to reaffirm the unshakeable attachment of Moroccans to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, through the oath of allegiance that unites them to HM the King, Defender of the Faith and guarantor of the supreme interests of the Nation and its citizens.

This happy event is also an opportunity to review the main activities of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan that marked the past year, including his appointment, last Saturday, by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Chief and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, as Coordinator of the Bureaux and Services of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

On April 30, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over, in Rabat, the opening ceremony of the 31st edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL), organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

On April 13, on the orders of His Majesty the King, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan inaugurated the 'Mohammed VI Tower', a new architectural icon and a symbol of modernity that represents the emergence and radiance of the twin cities of Rabat and Salé, under the impetus of the Sovereign.

On December 21, 2025, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over, at the 'Prince Moulay Abdellah' Stadium in Rabat, the opening ceremony of the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN-Morocco 2025).

On October 22 of the same year, on the High Instructions of HM the King, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, a ceremony offered by the Sovereign in honor of the members of the national under-20 football team, following their championship at the 2025 World Cup organized in Chile.

Four days earlier, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over the Grand Prix of Rabat 2025 of the Longines Global Champions Tour, a prestigious competition that consolidates Morocco's position as an indispensable actor in the international equestrian calendar.

On September 29, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over, at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park, the opening ceremony of the 16th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show, which continued until October 5, the day on which HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over, at the same exhibition park, the ceremony awarding the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of show jumping, organized within the framework of the final of the 14th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour CSI 4*W.

On September 4, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan proceeded, on the orders of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to the inauguration of the 'Prince Moulay Abdellah' Stadium in Rabat, after reconstruction work had enabled this prestigious sports infrastructure to be brought into conformity with FIFA 2030 standards.

Furthermore, and on the orders of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Qods Committee, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan received, on August 25 at the Royal Palace, the members of the national under-20 football team, who had just won the championship at the 2025 World Cup organized in Chile.
