Morocco Strategic Minerals Raises $7.5 Million to Finance Projects in Morocco

Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation, a Canadian-listed company on the TSX Venture Exchange, has completed a private placement of 50.1 million units, with the net proceeds to be used for the acquisition and development of mining assets in Morocco.

The company announced that it has closed a non-brokered private placement of a total gross amount of $7.5 million, intended to finance the acquisition and development of mining assets in Morocco.

The operation, announced on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, involved the issuance of 50.1 million units at a price of $0.15 per unit.

Each unit consists of one ordinary share and one-half warrant, with each whole warrant allowing the holder to acquire an additional share at a price of $0.25 until May 4, 2028.

The securities issued in connection with this placement are subject to a statutory hold period expiring on September 5, 2026.

The operation remains subject to final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange, where Morocco Strategic Minerals is listed under the symbol MCC.

The company intends to use the net proceeds of the operation to finance the acquisition and development of mining assets in Morocco, as well as its general working capital and treasury needs.

Insiders of the company participated in the placement to the tune of 1.24 million units, for a gross proceeds of $186,500.

Morocco Strategic Minerals notes that it relied on exemptions available under applicable Canadian securities regulations for related-party transactions.
